BRD Delivers Critical Building Solutions for Sinopec's Jafurah Phase 3 Plant in Saudi Arabia

BRD has officially commenced its involvement in the Sinopec Jafurah Phase 3 Plant project, located in the challenging desert environment of Eastern Saudi Arabia. This strategic partnership underscores BRD's growing role in supporting large-scale industrial energy infrastructure across the Middle East.

For this critical facility, BRD is supplying and installing 2,800 square meters of its premium rock wool sandwich panels for walls and an extensive roofing system comprising 3,000 square meters of 820-type color steel roof sheets and supporting steel structures. These components are essential for constructing durable, safe, and efficient operational buildings and enclosures within the plant.

 The selection of BRD's products was driven by their exceptional performance characteristics, crucial for the demanding Saudi climate and the project's industrial requirements: 

Superior Fire Resistance: The core rock wool insulation boasts an A1-grade non-combustible rating, providing ultimate fire safety—a paramount concern for petrochemical facilities. 

Exceptional Thermal Insulation: The panels offer extremely low thermal conductivity, significantly reducing cooling costs and maintaining stable internal temperatures despite extreme external heat.

Durability & Corrosion Resistance: Both the wall panels and roof sheets feature robust, protective coatings designed to withstand harsh desert conditions, including intense UV radiation, wind, and sandstorms, ensuring long-term structural integrity with minimal maintenance.

Structural Strength & Speed of Installation: The integrated steel framework and large-format panels allow for rapid assembly, accelerating the project's overall construction timeline.
